Baseball Tomorrow Fund Grant - Chicago White Sox gives pointers to our baseball and softball teams

On September 28, the Chicago White Sox training academy came out to Touhy-Herbert Park to give pointers to members of our baseball team the West Haven Giants, and our softball team, the West Haven Diamonds.  The teams learned the importance of fundamentals, listening, leading, and practice.  The instructors also provided life lessons to the youth concerning non-field issues.  Special thanks to the Baseball Tomorrow Fund who provided the West Haven Sports Club funding to buy new uniforms worn by the baseball and Softball team as well as off-season (winter and spring) skill training.
