BOMBON is a hip & casual mexican cafe on West Haven's eastern border, serving gourmet-quality food. Words like Tortas (mexican for sandwich) Tlacoyos and Sopecitos are warm & delicious additions to the community, especially after you have one.
In 2001, BOMBON Cafe opened the doors to their first bakery in Pilsen. Chefs Luis and Laura have since expanded to West Haven and other locations through pounds of passion, a pinch of creativity and big sweet dreams. BOMBON cafe's grand opening in West
Haven was in 2005. The store's manager, Rick, has witnessed positive change in West Haven and increased customers since its opening, especially after recent construction.
BOMBON is known city-wide for their beautiful pastries and cakes, which can be viewed on their website, www.bomboncafe.com. In addition to a strong morning rush, as well as, a solid lunch crowd during the week, BOMBON also serves a very popular brunch on Sundays. Rick also notes that catering has significantly increased over the last year, due in part to the Cafe's convenient location to downtown.
Envisioned as a celebration destination, a pastry shop where you can find delightful pastries, artistic cakes, mouth watering cookies and all types of desserts, Chefs Luis and Laura have made their dreams into a reality. Welcome to West Haven!
