Important Information: The Home Visitors Program was developed by the Near West Side Community Development Corporation to strengthen and promote personal and economic self-sufficiency for families transitioning and/or living in the West Haven community. All services are confidential.

Through its Home Visitors Program and Center For West Haven Families, the Near West Side Community Development Corporation assists and educates West Haven residents in job preparation, life skills training, and financial literacy.

$2.4 million grant boosts services
The Near West Side CDC's Home Visitors Program has received a $2.4 million Service Connector grant from the City of Chicago's Department of Human Services for 2006 that is providing an array of support services for 589 families.
