Owner, Pedro Angel
Welcome to Angel’s, the latest restaurant to call West Haven home. If only the iPhone had an app for smell! As a family business, Pedro Angel (owner) invokes a friendly and casual atmosphere throughout the restaurant. Bright colors, warm music and interesting artwork are on display to set a welcoming tone. Like any good restaurant, the selling point is the food. Here are a couple of Pedro's favorites:

Skirt Steak – Sliced tender skirt steak marinated in a pesto sauce, roasted tomato, baby spinach leaves.

Crab Cakes Benedict – Crab cakes, roasted red peppers, english muffin, hollandaise sauce.

Banana Nut French Toast – French toast stuffed with banana, candied walnuts, strawberries.

Molcajete - Fajita mix with choice of chicken, steak or shrimp. Baked in a piping hot clay pot with grilled peppers, onions, cactus and melted cheese. Comes with rice beans and shells.
If you remember Angel’s Restaurant as the former site of Penelope Café, you are in for pleasant surprise or two. First and foremost is the new entry, which is especially appreciated during the colder months. Presently under construction is a new rear patio to accommodate private events and parties. For warm summer days, Pedro envisions French windows facing Ashland.
While new to West Haven, Angel’s has been serving up chilaquiles for the last 18 years up in Andersonville. Near West is thrilled to have Angel’s restaurant in the community and wishes Pedro Angel great success.
